Photographs are taken from every angle of the vehicle, as well as of the interior, engine compartment and undercarriage, if necessary. This is done to have a visible record of the condition of the vehicle at the time of inspection. The appraiser will take notes on the inspection as he inspects each aspect of the vehicle. Upon returning to the office, he will research the vehicle using the Internet and all available, relevant publishing's. The appraiser will then edit and type all notes taken at the time of the inspection, combined with the research and photos. The completed appraisal will be ready in 2 or 3 days, but may vary slightly due to research difficulties. Each car is assessed based on market research, condition/extent of restoration and applicable modifications.
